Objectives of this Role

  • MRR and revenue contributions for small & mid-sized business in Japan
  • Increase product awareness to generate qualified leads
  • Establish positioning, identify right targets, and develop the go-to-market plans with specific goals across different channels and segments
  • Lead the execution of marketing initiatives from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving team work
  • Analyze customer insights, trends, market, competitive analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Product contributions enabling product vision for growth opportunities with Product PM and others.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Working in partnership with the design, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all ad and communications, including print, digital, and video assets
  • Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate / report key metrics and outcome from marketing initiatives with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in product marketing of tech or payment industry
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in Japanese
  • Strong execution for marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with MA and CRM tools
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Business level English and native Japanese language

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B SaaS or startup experience
  • Proficiency with digital, social media or community marketing
  • Established press and media contacts

Business hours

  • Business hours 9:00-18:00 (1 hour lunch break)
  • Flex-time (core time 11:00-15:00)
  • Hybrid work (remote 3-4 days/week)

Office place

  • Tokyo, Otemachi and work anywhere
